Kite Dress

Kite Dress // performance Cocky Eek has been hoisted in the air wearing a manageable 60-foot long dress and being hold up by 6 Conyne kites, made by Patrick de Koning. The kite itself is anchored by a small truck.The wind dictates among the hight and the duration of the flight. The dress likes to write sculptural gestures in the air. It is not only the performer achieving her own dream of flying, but it seemed that the audience experienced it as such. So far the kite-dress has chalked up for five successful lifts.
