Liquid Wind
Wings // is an embodiment of Leonorda da Vinci’s studies for wings (1487-1490). Once speeded up the person can stir its wings in the air. As one is not used to this body position in motion, it could evoke strong physical reactions for the participants once landed on the floor.
Wings presented at W139, Amsterdam (2000)
Wind Dress // is an enlarged rectangular form derived from the wings as described above, attached to the body. The interplay of the wind, the body and the cloth are forming a cinematographic sequence.
Wind Dress was performed at The Eempolder, Eemnes, NL (2002)
